See and feel a younger, fresher, clear-skinned you!”
Recent research has indicated that chemical peels can help clients with acne
and Rosacea, making the skin more responsive to other treatments and
medications. The procedure may need to be repeated several times in order to
achieve the best possible results. Facials and peels are designed to bring a
more youthful glow to the skin. Peels revitalize the skin by removing dead skin
cells and promoting rapid cell turnover. Results are usually immediate. The
procedures we offer have little or no down time and can be used on all skin
types.

Chemical Peels are great for:
  •       Revitalizing the skin
  •       Evening out skin tone (for hyperpigmentation/age spots)
  •       Dehydrated or sun damaged skin
  •       Oily, Normal, Dry, & Combination skin types
  •       Moderate acne scaring
  •       Smoothing out fine lines and wrinkles
  •       Reduces pore size.

The Procedure
Chemical peels are quick and are performed as an outpatient procedure. The
aesthetician begins by cleansing the client's skin. Once the face is prepared, the
aesthetician applies the solution. After about five to fifteen minutes, the peel is
removed and the client is free to go. No anesthesia is required during the peel,
and no special ointments are necessary afterwards. Chemical peels remove the
outermost layer of skin, revealing the smoother skin beneath.

What it does to your skin
It is successfully used to induce the regeneration of new skin which would have
otherwise not been produced by the body. Its small molecular size allows it to
penetrate cell walls it can interact with cellular processes, stimulate collagen
production and accelerate cell division.  Chemical Peel’s keratolytic properties
weaken the bonds that hold together dead skin’s cells, advancing their natural
exfoliation from the surface and leaving behind new layers of clearer, smoother
skin.

After a Chemical Peel
Recovery time after a chemical peel is relatively short if any. While deeper skin
peels may take over a week to heal significantly, clients who undergo a recovery
peel can resume public activities right away -- almost always by the following
day. Some dryness, flakiness, and redness should be expected, as the top layer
of skin falls away to reveal the smoother, healthier skin beneath.  All clients
undergoing chemical peels are required to use SPF30.

Precision offers a wide variety of Specialty Treatments and Peels. Each
procedure is personalized to meet individual needs. Consultations are available
to discuss different treatment options.  We strongly recommend a series of
glycolic peels in combination with
Photo Rejuvenation for optimal results.
